About Zanzibar Coffee House
Zanzibar is a cozy coffee house located in Longwood Florida. Zanzibar takes it’s name from the Tanzanian Island in Africa. All throughout the coffee house there are African themed decorations.
What was Done
I developed the brand mark for Zanzibar so that they can start branding themselves and applying their new logo to brand materials. I chose the colors brown and orange for a few reasons. I chose brown to represent both the natural earth tones of Africa which one finds in the nutrient rich soil and and the rich brown hues of the coffee bean. I chose orange because it is an adventurous color that ties into the logo icon. Orange is a very warm color so it works well to bring in coffee lovers. Orange was also chosen because it is a recognizable color for food and drink establishments.
